      There is a significant correlation between low back pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, so much so, that one study even reported that 95% of women with low back pain had some form of pelvic floor dysfunction!1 And many other studies have shown similar connections between the two. Pelvic floor dysfunction can present as pain, pelvic heaviness/pressure, bowel or bladder issues.
